I was going to shell out the $59 to get a grill-tech valance but decided instead to spend $6 on some gutter guard and see how it looks. I've read a bunch of threads on spraying the metal with a clear coat before applying. Rust-Oleum makes a "Cold Galvanized Enamel" that is meant for bare metal applications to prevent rust and corrosion. Seems like this is a perfect match for what i need it for. Anybody else use this stuff...if not well see how long it lasts. Also any suggestions about the installation?
