New MAX Owner!!

I just purchased a lightly used '02 MAX GLE from a private owner! Black, with every option! I subscribed to these forums about a week before I bought the car, reading up on all the tips. These forums are a great resource. I found other owners (about all) with the damn paint chip problem, not cool. But at least there is that clear bra. I read all the threads about the clear bra, but did not find which one was the best.

The car even has the navigation system, but here is the problem... there is no CD in it. The guy I bought it from said it was stolen, and that he would order another one for me. That was about a week ago, still no CD. I am wondering if the system even works. I read that I can purchase one through Zenrin, but what if he comes through and has the CD? Is there any demo version that I can use to test out the nav to see if it works? I went to a dealer and they said that they do not have any CD's that I could use to test.

Thanks for the great forums!

Leave now before you get hooked! Run away and don't ever come here again, it is bad for your wallet.

I agree .. I got my max last december and now have intake and Y-pipe on its way and it does hurt the pockets...... seems like this place subliminally gets you to mod your max (part of that mass hysteria thing) ... Its gonna be downhill from here.... damn you org for making me make my car faster and better then it already is!!!

Thanks guys. I'll have to watch my wallet closely.

The car does not have a cup holder insert. Is there a place online I could buy one?
