eibach or sprints

eibach or sprints

right now i have eibachs, i like the ride but it isn't low enough. should i sell my eibachs and get some sprints?.

You can try but eibachs are known to sit very low, lower then they specify. With sprints you supposedly will go lover but will loose the great handeling but will gain more comfortable ride.

Just cut the freaking eibacks. In worst case scenerio you will get new springs if you dont like the ride with the cut coils. Many people have done it and they dont seem to have any problems. One coil cut of each spring wont do u any harm.

should i cut the ciol at the top or bottom?

If you are running on the stock struts now its just a matter of time before they blow, Eibach, while not too low are quite stiff. You actually may want to consider Intrax springs with one coil cut in the front. They are progressive springs just like eibach and are quite a bit lower, so handling may even improve. Definatly upgrade your struts, and put them in at the same time as the new springs, save some money on labor, or time if you do it yourself.
