What mods do people NOT care to talk about anymore?

And people are getting more turbos now because they are more tunable. Plus all these new 4 banger cars with their huge turbos are making 200hp+ now which is quite irritating. Ex: WRX, SRT NEON, LANCER EVO VIII, etc.
And then there are all these stupid 4 bangers: civic, integra, celica, etc. That have huge turbo kits for them that cost like $2000 that dyno the cars over 200hp.
Now us 4th gen maxima owners have no choice but to start looking to SC's and Turbo's so that when we go to the track we don't get stomped by all these eclipses, civics, neons, etc.
Nissan better jump the HP on the new maxima very soon.
Y-pipe is a rice mod? Its 15 to 20 hp for $200. I think RSBs aren't rice either.

2) Lighting
3) Clear taillights
4) Straight pipe
5) Y-pipes
6) Catbacks
7) RSTB
8) RSB
And in general, a lot of those other rice mods out there... It seems as though the amount of technical posts has gone down dramatically... Posts there should be more of are ones about porting the TB, Pathfinder TB's, advanced timing, turbos (different kits, intstalls, etc), S/C's, fuel management, JWT ECU/Cams, lightweight wheels, tire weights and other performance tricks to maximize performance...

I'm shocked at the people that are saying the RSB makes little to no difference on a lowered car. My car is lower and stiffer (on 500# ground controls) than 99.99% of the Maximas in the world and I would't trade my Stillen RSB for ANYTHING. Once you've driven with and WITHOUT it on a road course you will know what I am talking about. The difference is night and day to me.

The first guys who tried it lost some power on the dyno. One dude didn't take out the driveshaft, and it ended up sucking some of the power away. Too much drivetrain loss. His injector pulse was jacked up too. Much too wide. He leaned it out, and now he runs 9s.

Well everyone knows our Maximas are rwd, except for the 1st gens. They're fwd. To put the RB from the fwd GT-R in our Maximas, people have had to get rid of the driveshaft so that the Max won't be rwd anymore.

I don't know anything special, though. Read forums like a total nerd, and you too, can have knowledge like me.
But expect to have less than 1000 posts in over 2 1/2 years, though.heheAnd yes, I was joking.
It also sounds like the VQ30 people aren't talking about using VQ35 parts as much anymore. There's a couple, like Mardi, but not a whole bunch like before.
I still want to make a VQ32DE...Maybe if my street racing story sells and I get rich.lol

yeah but there will be a difference with an RSB

i beg to differ..
the rear end of our maxima's have a solid rear beam, which means that their is less movement between the rear shocks than their is for the front struts. The rear is already solid as we know it doesn't need alignment.
I thought about this for a while and then i sold my RSTB, and i still havn't noticed any difference since selling it.
