They can go from 30-150k miles. It all depends on the driving habits or lack there of. hehe.

My stock clutch lasted to 100,000 miles before slipping

and that was with hard driving all the way.

Based on my history with cars, I'd guess the design life of clutches is around 90k miles. Just an educated guess. That would mean that 50% would fail before that and 50% after. I've had 3 cars whose clutches all went out about there. Of course your driving habits and the manufacturing process will be the ultimate decider...

My stock 5th gen clutch has about 15k and 100 1/4 mile passes on it and its still holding fine. Ive heated it up quite a few times and felt it get soft, but after cool down, its always gone right back to normal.

Mine lasted about 120,000 miles before I upgraded it with a Centerforce unit. I could have gone MUCH further with it, but I wanted better bite for the drag strip. I have *never* worn out a clutch. I always do lift-throttle upshifts and match-rev downshifts. (My brake pads last forever, too.)

If you decide to get a new clutch, make sure you also get a new pilot bushing and throw-out bearing with it, and have your flywheel resurfaced at the same time. Happy motoring.
