What a great run! Sedans beating sports cars are always my favorite media clips. If you have a boosted Maxima, you'll be a fan of GM's upcoming global V6. Initially it'll be a 3.6L N/A 260hp in a Cadillac but down the road a 2.8L-3.2L turbo V6 will be available. Prototypes are producing 370+ hp (p. 28, Automotive Engineering, January 2003). Imagine doing a couple bolt-ons and cranking up the boost on that mother to high 4xx hp! One would be ready to take on '02/'03 Z06s, BPU Supras, and 1st gen. GTS Vipers!
