I own an 1987 Maxima with the factory sunroof installed. When I click the open/close buttons, the motor runs but the glass does not move. I think it needs new cables or some drive mechanism. What's the problem? Where/How can I repair this?

 

I had one of those, heh nice beater...anyway, you probably need to open the motor all the way and physically open the sunroof. I bet its rusted and needs a major overhaul, weather stripping etc.
