Intake Choices
Hello everyone!
I am in a predicament and was wondering what my options were. See, I had the JWT POP on my car till this winter and I took it off for two reasons:
1) It was loud, I like my daily driver to sound decent and not like a barking dog. I can think of a heavier exhaust note but not growls like the JWT made at WOT.
2) I live in extremely cold temperatures (20~30 F), and I thought I am getting cold enough air anyway in the winter, so I took it off.
I dont want to go to a CAI as I do drive in snow and am afraid that it will get into the filter and soak it. What do you guys think I should do that sounds decent and is year round. I want to make full use of my Cattman SS-ypipe.
Also, if you think the CAI would be the best choice, where can I just get the CAI w/o the POP, as I already have the POP.
Thanks for the advice.

Go to the 5th generation Forum and read out the "intake silencer" thread. It's a interesting idea for an intake mod and it seems to work. The mod uses the stock airbox, modifies it, and uses a K&N replacement filter panel. I don't see why it wouldn't work for a 4th gen.
