Catalytic Converter...

When the catalytic converter is removed, how much HP do you gain? and how much better gas mileage do you get?

Removing a cat and putting a test pipe will yield like 1hp if any.. And your gas mileage will go down as well cuz you'll be more free-flow.

You'll prolly gain more then 1, I felt a decent amount of power down in the lower bands when I removed mine. It seemed more repsonsive off the line. However, the car begins to smell and it gets a lot louder.
