Oh, duh *slaps forehead*... yeah, obviously wider rims and tires are going to weigh more, silly me. Another reason to get light rims.

I'm sure the extra stress on the car is worth it for your crazy SC power and having enough traction to put it into the road.

I learned the hardway, 1,2,3 gears all busted up, 4th was pretty bad as well, then the sychros and bearings were toast, not to mention the clutch, all this after the 5 speed swap. It was going to cost $1200 at 3 places to put a used trans in, with no warranty and I didnt want to go through the same problem, so I had them replace all the gears and pretty much everything in the trans($1700)
