does anyone have any tips for replacing the clutch slave cylinder?

mine went out and i put a new one from autozone in 1 1/2 weeks ago and then this one went bad. i dont know if i installed it wrong or if they sold me a bad part

what i did was....

remove the old slave

put in new one

fill fluid

pump pedal several times and hold down

bleed slave

close bleeder valve

let pedal up( according to chilton's) however my pedal stayed on the floor when i did this....

anyone wanna share some insight?

you'll have to do this more than once. there's two places to bleed the clutch. one is on the strut tower and you know about the slave already. keep bleeding until the pedal is firm.

it's the hard line that bolted to the strut tower facing the front of the car.
