6th gen commercial
I saw the 6th gen Maxima commercial last night for the first time.. What do you guys think?? I still think its better than all the other car commercials out there, the mitsu, honda and neon are especially awful, gawd... But its still not as good as the 2000 & 2001 commercials, the desert and the sunset ones are my two favorites!
Its actually like the astronaut one where he is taking off but dreaming of driving his Maxima

i saw it
I saw it last night while i was on the treadmill at the gym...i couldnt hear it but it sure did look cool, it had the guy with the orange in his hand or whatever..the greatest one ever was with the reaper chasing the 5th gen across the desert

Orange in his hand?? The one I saw was the jogger who put his hand on the Maxima to balance himself while he stretched, and he sort of dreamed of driving it, then walks away and puts his hand on the picture of the hot chick on the bus stop poster to see if it would happen again!

I do not like the new maxima, it to me appeals to the mass market who jumped on the altima bandwagon (I do like the altima though) and it turns it's back on the loyal enthusiast population. If it had been designed for us, the look would not be a redesigned bubble appearence but rather a modest sedan like all max's have always been, and new exciting features would include rear wheel drive instead of a skyview. That said I think the interior of the 4th gens was awesome with the waterfall style of the dash (kind of like the NSX and diablo and 300z) then in the 5th gens they smoothed this over to include the same design just with a smoother appearence which looked great and still had the feel of a 4th gen, just with a superior flair, the new interior of the 6th gen does not contour like the 4th and 5th gens and I do not like it

I really don't like the look of the 6th gen... But I'm glad they changed it. I personally like the 5th gen the best and that means there won't be many more on the road than there are right now! As opposed to the gabillions of grand prixs, accords and 3 series beemers out there!

i thought it was a decent commercial. my roomate glanced at the commercial and thought it was the 350z i think the 6th with a different front bumper would look pretty good stoc the front bumper just looks too pontiac
