The cars will have improced performance, handling and shortly performance brake systems besides specials logo's and custom detailing inside and out.

Team Nissan is Manchester New Hampshire will get the first one next week.

I will have pictures of the car as soon as we finsih a few little items. And yes there are a few custom items on this car. They are numbers and limited.

To answer both the above questions

There will be Avalon Racing logos on the passenger windows (1" lettering) and on the motor.

As for cost - That is not up to me. We are building these for Nissan dealers and they sell at whatever they can get.

As for performance remember that NISSAN has provide full warranty on these cars so we could not do everything we wanted to.

The basic package is a cold air intake, we modified/designed for the 2001, exhaust, sway bars, front and rear strut tower braces, short throw shifter, springs, shocks, performance tune, Avalon black and gold - limited edition plaque (interior), dash kit, custom hose kit in the engine bay, painted calipers, Avalon Racing shirt.

The next level up will include Y Pipes etc.

The next batch of cars will have a complete performance brake system as we are waiting for the product to leave mfg.

We will also offer throug the dealers, packages up to and including superchargers.

Just wondering if your y-pipe will have pre-cats on it. Won't it be hard to sell the car (legaly) if it is violation of the emmisions system.

The most important question is: Will these Maxima's cross the Canadian Border?

Alta Nissan is selling a 2000 Maxima SE

It's sterling mist with frost interior ... let's see what it has ...

Stillen Supercharger Kit
Stillen aero kit
Stillen STS
Stillen FSTB
Stillen RSTB
Stillen RSB
Stillen Y-Pipe
Stillen Exhaust
Momo 18 x 7.5 Sport rims
Toyo T1 235/40/18
Eibach springs
Steel lines?
AP Racing Rotors - cross dilled & ventilated (13" in diameter)
Titanium finish metal dash kit
Momo Air Racing shift ****
Razo carbon fiber pedals
Boomerang security system

Apparently it does 0-60 in about 5.2 seconds!

I think it's going 4 about $65,000 CDN or $43,000 USD. The guy who owns it also has some crazy *** SMZ 300 Turbo as well ... some of us have way way way way way 2 much cash!!!

When I'm done I should have all that ... except the supercharger ... kinda useless with our Canadian winters ;-)

Nice, huh?

Some more answers to questions

For the dealers, we have to make cars that meet all federal emmisions etc. We are not making out own Y pipe and will use wither Stillen or Cattman.

As for the car at Alta Nissan the ex owner is the person who owns the advertsing agency we use and the Maxima in my signature. was also the owner of the greem SMZ on my web site.

Regards

Yes ..... more

Yes --- Bill and his family as well as Hart are good friend and we have all our ad stuff done through them. Bill's (now sold SMZ) was the only car that ever gave me a run for the money at shows. After it was stolen we did the re-build on the car.

In fact, Hart is working on a banner for me now fo rthis Forum as we are becoming a sponsor.

Props to Avalon Racing....

Well, I'm glad to see a racing outfit has managed to offer their Maxima product through the Nissan dealerships. It shows that Nissan is recognizing the appeal of the Maxima to enthusiasts. I hope this is the start of something bigger. Nissan needs to support the efforts of aftermarket manufacturers and tuner shops involving their cars.

Ideally you should put together a press release about this and leak it to all the car magazines you can. There is a photographer for Overboost magazine who hangs here that I'm sure could hook you up. I seem to have forgotten his name...

I'm also glad that you will be sponsoring Maxima.Org. I think you'll find this to be the best way to stay current with Maxima enthusiasts...but you probably already know that.

Please maintain a presence here on this BBS as many of us would like to keep informed of your offerings through dealers. Are there any plans to send a showroom model to any dealers in NJ?

Very Happy News

I am so glad to hear that an aftermarket tunner is getting in to the dealerships in the North East.

I had asked my dealer before purchasing my Maxima if they would provide performance parts. Their answer... we tried it in 96 with the SMX and the 300 z then they gave up...

How to see pic soon...

Also glad to hear your supporting the board with sponsership and a banner...

Peace

Thanks + more

The first car was delivered to the dealer this morning (except the Limitied Edition Engraved plaque). Even thoug the weather sucked the car was just absolute fun.

It is at Team Nissan (603-644-8326)

If other dealers want them in your area, they would have to contact wither myself or Team to work out trades. I will have pictures later today as they are getting the car ready for the showroom. Lots of performance and a lot of color in the motor.

We were very proud of the first one. I will run the seconf one we do no the DYNO.

Regards
