Used it this weekend it was about time. My boy Jimmy showed me how to use it. Very simple to do and highly recommended.

I use it on all my gas powered things, even my gas R/C cars.

What did you cover up? Could you sorta explain what you did? I "know" what to do...but understanding what other people did is better for me. Spraying electronics is scary for me.Originally posted by 2kprlmax

I covered up my intake and my wireing for my HID's other than that everything was game. I went to one of those self car wash places and sprayed the GUNK on the engine let it sit for a while about 10 min then take the high pressure water system and spray it off. Then after you spray it off take a rag and dry it up.

I believe it says on the can that the engine (or whatever is to be sprayed) shouldn't be hot... I don't know why, probably discolours it.
I used to use Gunk on my old 355, works great, and if there are any really gunky spots just let it soak then agitate it with a rag or brush, then rinse...

Thats because Hot metal tends to not react well to cold water hitting it without cracking and whatnot. Anytime you clean the engine, it should be cold, or at least cool. Never clean an engine when its hot...
yup i was going to do it right after I had been driving for like an hour when I was with my boy and he was like hell no we had to wait til the car was cool.
don't know all I know is the engine looks good. I have another question the rust spot on the engine how would you get that off or did you leave it/cover it up with paint or what?
