Alright I have read a lot of the past posts about this topic but I need some input. I ordered my Eurolites 9004 (80/100)for my headlights.

DO I NEED THE APC HARNESS? Many say they use the stock harness and it works fine.

How many of you melted your stock harness right away? I know the harness is only $50 but can I get put it off fo a few weeks.

WHAT IS THE WORST CASE SCENERIO? I melt the stock harness and have to buy the APC anyways or will the damage be COSTLY?

I appreciate your feedback!

Do whatever you like, it's your car. Most people know my stand on this issue, so I don't feel like repeating myself.

There are about a dozen people that melted their headlight connector. Here are the only few names I collected.

Worst case scenerio, your headlight switch catch on fire and your whole car goes up in flame. The insurance found out you used improper equipment and doesn't pay you a penny. You are stuck paying the monthly payments for a car that no longer exist.

I use APC 9004 bulbs with the stock wires, and I haven't had a problem yet. I've had them for over a year now. Just my input.

The wiring harness

You could be ok, then you could have it get f'd up and go without lights until you replace fuses, bulbs, harness that the bulbs burn out. I'd say you'll be fine for a coupel weeks but by then I would suggest getting the APC harness.

Like I said. You could be fine or you could like ->

A dozen people that had their headlight connectors fried. I posted the names above. If you don't believe e-mail those guys. For those people that doesn't already know, the APC upgrade harness actually makes your headlight even brighter. Added bonus.

What 1MAX2NV said is definetly a worst case scenario. But here's the lo down! You run your stock harness till you get enough ca$h flow to buy the upgrade harness. By then, one of three things would have happened 1, nothing happens to the stock harness, you replace it with the upgrade harness and alls well. 2, You tinker with your stock harness in order to get the lights to work since you burnt em out using the high wattage bulbs and then you get your upgrade harness and come to find out you have to buy new bulbs too cause it melted as well. 3, worst case scenario. If I were you, I'd run the stock bulbs till I got the harness. And yes it does make the bulbs run brighter.

Ok. I have finished compiling my list ->

Here's the list of people had their headlight connectors burned out. Few people fixed it themself. Few people had to pay $68-$200 to get it fixed.

Could 25 people be a coincident? I don't think so.
