While I was running speaker wire to my front speakers last week I unattatched the metal "rod"(for lack of a better term) that connects the door to the body of the car. It was held in place by a bolt (10mm). I removed it because I thought it would allow me to open the door a little more. I was wrong. Its purpose is to stabilize the door while it is open.

Anyways... I can't get the damn thing to pull out of the door so I can re-attatch it. Any ideas?

 

It slipped inside the door or the body of the car?

If the door, you'll need to remove the door panel and push it back out.
