Engine cleaner

Installed my Y-pipe today...YEAH!!!!

Anyway I want to clean my engine bay and engine but I dont know how..
How would I do that, I dont want to **** up everything?

what i do is take the car to the car wash place and spray it with that green stuff for tire cleaner and just spary it off with water again. i keep the engine running while i do this. also if you have an open air filter make sure u cover that up with some plastic bag or something. and ur donw

We dont have that at our car wash...would a normal tire cleaner do the trick? anyone with other advice?
