Car Wax

Yay, I just washed my car today..... finally. The good news is that, I'm also getting one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2318697436

I looked at some car wax like Turtle Wax and Meguiar's car wax today. My question is which car wax works best and gives the shiniest finish on my car? Well, what do YOU use?

that thing does not look that great.. i have had ones like that, and they did not work well at all.. better off using a little elbow grease. right now i use a dewalt polisher and 3M finishing polish on my car..

Klasse

is what I use. The All in One and then the Sealant Glaze. I don't have any polishing type machine though...all done by hand, but I love the way the Klasse shines.

Re: Klasse

Funny, I thought the Meguiar's Gold Class are the best car wax/polish. I'd like to hear more from other users.

I've used the Klasse wax. It's a great synthetic wax which holds up well for a longer period of time, but I think you can get more shine out of a regular wax. The last one I tried was P21s. It is awesome in shine! I just finished fully detailing my car and posted a link up in the general max forum with pics. Here check it out:

meguires, i use the three or four step process. it makes your paint look like glass. it takes for ever but after your done youll find yourself just staring into the hood of your car

oh and foodmanry i love the "providing stiff racing competition to geo metros" hilarious

I was recently at the World of Wheels Auto show this Feb and saw that "Eleanor" the car from Gone in Sixty Seconds was being waxed with Zaino. By the time they were done...it really was like they added "Glass" to the finish. The car really outshined all the others in the show... it was impressive.

Someone in the chatroom suggested that website too, unfortunately it doesnt work. After several trials, I came up with this:

Finish First. You can get it here:

I like that 'more coats means more protection' part, but even better since I'm lazy I like that you put it on, let it dry overnight, then wipe it off the next day. No rubbing or buffing... and no effort at all. I put it on one night, let my car sit overnight in the garage (barn, actually) and it took less than 10 minutes to wipe it off the next morning.

People say Zaino is better... I've used it and Finish First and think they're about the same EXCEPT for the 'effort' category... FF is DEFINITELY easier to apply/remove.
