Wheel Lock

Wheel Lock

Did any of you guys ever go to park your maxima after just about a week or two after buying it still gettting used to driving your car??? Did you ever turn the wheel to the point of lock but hit that end point hard from turning it so fast,, can this ruin anything????

clearing up what im trying to say... as you all know..if you turn your steering wheel left or right...it can only turn so far..adventually it will not turn any further..this is what im calling the point of lock..now picture hitting this point of lock HARD by turning the wheel to fast and to axiously..is that harmful for the car in any way???

No. Some fords will shoot steering fluid if you do it when the engine isn't running, but if you don't see a fountain of goo coming out from under the hood, you're fine (I haven't heard of nissan's doing this, don't worry)
