to avoid spins

umm
if I push too hard from dead stop, my front wheel will spin
yeah
its a 95 auto
on pirellisp6000 rubber
I thought my old rubber , yokos305 sucks....turn out the car front wheel will spin if I push too hard on the pedal at dead start.
bring the car to a rolling then punch from there
someone suggested holding it at 2000RPM (correct me if I am wrong) on 1st gear holding the break for 2 or 3 sec before launch.....I've never done it....
remember to shift manually and have over drive off
well at least till you reach 120...if you ever get to that fast....yikes.....
I don't suggest doing it on the street....dangerous...
on an empty highway...maybe....
definately stay off regular street

what i do is

leave it in SECOND with od off. crank it to about 2000 and when the light turns, drop it and let go of the brake. by leaving it in second, you should still hit redline and can concentrate on driving and watching the road for cops instead of looking at the needle. just my thoughts
