Nissan provides free PDF manuals from 96 to 04 here... Always nice to have onhand, and heck, it's FREE! Probably lots of other Nissan car manuals on there as well. I'd DL them ASAP, never know when they might not have them there for free...

Also, you can BUY ECU downloads here. I wonder if it's ever updated or whats going on, but I checked one, and it was $19.95 to purchase... anyone hear of this before?

when you sign up for a MyNissan account w/ nissan USA, they provide the PDF version of the manual as well. Pretty cool, they lists all the recalls for your specific VIN # and stuff.

What can you do w/ an ECU manual? Does it even matter? Wouldn't nissan only be able to do it?

no clue on ECU part, but they provide all the software you need to write to your ECU (just missing the cable I guess)...
