Service Engine Soon Light

I would have searched for this answer, but the site isn't letting me.

The Service Engine Soon light came on, the manual says it might be something with the exhaust.. What should I do? Check the ECU? Anyone have a link to that ECU code page?

If the code you pulled from the FAQ thread indicates your Crankshaft Position Sensor is at fault, your gas cap would not have triggered that.

There are 2 crank sensors, one is called POS for position and the other is called REF for referance. Make sure you know which sensor the code points to. REF looks at the lower crank pully and POS looks at the flywheel.

A lose or defective gas cap will set an EVAP code.
