spoiler installation
I bought the oem replica spoiler from spoilers4less for my 1997 gxe. Has anyone installed one of these? The directions are pretty self-explanatory...I just want to make sure no one had problems before I get started. The only problem I had is they didn't provide washers or the allen wrench...which they waid should have been included.
Yeah it's really straightforward from what I hear (and what I could see with my OEM spoiler). As long as you're comfortable drilling through your trunk. I wasn't, so I payed my shop $50 to do it. Funny thing is, I had no problem drilling a hole the size of texas into my fender for my sidemarkers hehe.
I dunno, if you're cool drilling into your trunk then it should be straightforward.
BTW - How's the quality on those spoillers4less spoilers? Just curious.

I just had my OEM spoiler installed yesterday.
Although it wasn't hard at all, I didn't mind having the body shop doing it. I didn't have to have mine painted but it was still easier for them to do it. It took them 2 hours.
Let you know
I got the spoiler and it was bare plastic. I dropped it off 2 days ago at the body shop. They have to sand, primer, base and clear coat it. (100 bucks)I should be picking it up today. I'll let you know how it looks.
I just have to pick up a center punch, allen wrench and washers.
