will 100W H3s burn my wires?

Well, I alway got Hiper Industries stock wattage in 55W H3s, but this time my friend got 99cent H3s from ebay shipped for $6. And they do look nice and blue but they are 100W!!!
Is it safe?? I heard something about wires burning out, but my friend claims it's safe.
Help

It's already done. It says 12V 100W. I know it supposed to be 55W but a lot of people do it, even with the 100W H4 bulbs.

It's very possible your headlight harnesses will turn a nice crispy brown color in the future.

Be better safe than sorry by either switching to 55/65w bulbs or getting an upgraded wire harness.

I melted my upgraded harnesses from SWA w/ some 100 W bulbs a while back. It's weird, my car had 100W bulbs for over a year w/ no problems. then all of a sudden, I've gone through like 3 harnesses in a year. I'm going to start checking the wiring and grounds to see if that has anything to do w/ it.

Make sure there no leaky gas or grease under your hood. You wouldn't want no fires now

I guess I won't be driving with my fog lights on until I get some 55W H3s.

Just get some HID Fogs. They'll run only 35W
