I am not talking about the FSTB. I am talking underneath the car...does the Max come with one? Why does noone ever talk about buying one for their Max?

I saw a for sale ad for some front sway bars for the 4-gens. I'd take a long look for it. 4-gen for sale section. I even bumped it for you guys.

3-gens have ST front and rears available. And ADDCO has a rear RSB for us. I HIGHLY recommend one if you guys can get them. It GREATLY improved the handling of my 3-gen

Stillen doesnt have one on their site as far as I can see. I think they just thought the FSTB was the a sway bar. Most people call the FSTB a tie bar I think. I dont think its referred to as a sway bar though.

The 4th gens have a front sway bar already. Some people have replaced their bushings with polyurathane ones from energy suspension. 3rd gens can get a front a rear SB set from ST however.

The maxima already understeers. Putting on a thicker front swaybar will make this tendency worse. Check the autoX forum, people serious about handling are DISCONNECTING their front swaybar.

Every FWD car made today has a front swaybar. The question is does anyone make a high performance version.

I agree and understand the theory. But the maxima is a front heavy boat that plows into every corner. Disconnecting the sway bar "might" make the rear come around more but it would just make an already plowing car even worse. My front bar, made my car turn much flater. And coupled with the thicker(of the two avail) Addco rear bar, it made the car handle near neutral(but still on the understeer side).

There was a thread on here, I believe whiteline automotive, they made a FSB for the 4th gen that was smaller than OEM. I can't search
