I installed an alternator on my '95 SE. Be ready to spend a good 3-4 hours on it. I have a Chilton's service manual so I followed the instructions in there. If you don't have a service manual I would recommend buying one. They are about $30-$40 I think. You could probably go to Autozone or something, ask if they have the manual, look at the alternator installation process, and then say you don't want it. Then you don't have to buy it, and you saw what you need to do.
