Are there any other parts I should change besides the throw out bearing when I drop the tranny and install the exedy stage 1?

Get a fidenza flywheel, and some urthane mounts. It'll cost the same ammount for labor since all those are accessable when they do your clutch.

tackle this project only if your mechanically inclined! if your not then dont fix something thats not broken, it is simple but if not done properly you will be leaking oil.

You really should go for the flywheel, I regret not shelling out the extra cash to get one when I replaced my clutch.

I was really thinking about the fidanza, i 've been hearing nothing but good things about it. I have to replace the clutch soon though, I went to a 3.125 pulley on the V2 and when I hit 4K at full boost the clutch slips bad. I hope the exedy stage 1 holds up with boost. I havent seen any boosted maximas use this clutch. Thanks for all the replies

Pilot bearing

Chech shift fork if worn, replace if needed

Pull back dust boot on slave cylinder, check for leakage, replace if needed

Flush clutch hyd fluid (not needed, but what the heck)

Check clutch pedal freeplay. I don't know if there's any adjustment for the pedal but again what the heck.

Break in new clutch assy. correct for the first several hundred miles

Enjoy

I just put the ACT and the Findanza in, an it really pulls good, but it seems to be hard as hell to launch slowly?? Is this normal? Just seems like I really have to let the clutch out fast to get off the line without jerking?

I have not had that problem, how ever with the ACT clutch if you dont let it go at the right time youll stall, the jerkiness is the way you release the clutch and giving gas at the same time. I installed one on Ramiuses car and hes NA and he let me drive it and I had not jerkiness problems.

Well, if I give it lots of gas(more so than I am used to) It seems to do ok. But if I try to just slowly release the clutch it fills real jerky? Do you think it was installed wrong? Or do I just need to break it in?

That seems to be normal ACT clutch behavior. That's the trade-off for having the additional grabbing power.
