polished muffler and tip.. bling bling greddy!

well... after failing on fixing my rear brakes (the *****es still squeel), I decided I get someting visually pleasing for my car... actually not get, but make! I talked to a couple ORG members and went out and got me some metal polish.

My exhaust has never been polished before... lol

one more thing, for those who have the greddy catback, what does it say underneath the muffler?

Mine says Trust... i guess it's the japanese name for GReddy?

Yes Trust is the name of their American exhaust units I believe. Nice looking muffler.

I have the badge Ant is talking about and I polish it every car wash. The trust engraving is cool.

I used the "Polishing compound" by Turtlewax... it was $2.19 at my local auto store so i just bought it, tested it, and it worked fine for me.

You just apply it... let it haze... then buff it off.

I used the same to clean my chrome wheels on another car, which now belongs to my younger brother.

Damn, this only took about 20-25 min to do... only *****y part was to jack up the car. Oh well, well worth it

so all you did is put it on, let it sit and buff it off?

that looks great.

just rub that compound all over to loosen all that crap and dirt off and just buff off... so simple.

You just inspired me to clean mine. It's been looking nasty since winter and I've started to convince myself that I like the "stealthier" look.

a little history
"Trust" is the performance manufacturer in Japan.
when Trust came to the US they decided to call it GReddy. back in the day they would make the exhausts in Japan and export them over here..so the cans all say Trust on them.

now GReddy in CA is starting to make the exhausts so i'm going to assume the can will say GReddy on it since it's made states side.
