Eibach Springs

How many of you with eibach springs have one side of the car sittin about half inch lower then the otherside? My left side sits 1/2 inch lower off the ground.. it's annoying.

Maybe the springs are crooked on the spring seat. Or one is installed upside down.

Something is not right. When I had the Eibachs, both sides were even.

i just got my eibachs in the mail two days ago. when i get them installed is anything supposed to be cut off of them for them to be installed right? i have seen people post saying they have cut off the first coil on the spring. is that necessary to do prior to installation?

It's a matter of preference. Eibach gives you an uneven drop. The front sits higher than the rear. I am going to cut mine 1/2 a coil to see if it evens out.

Mine was even. The H&R springs that I have now is another case. In the H&Rs, the front does sit higher than the rear. Not on the Eibachs though.

eibachs are supposed to be dead even. i always thought H&R's were the springs with problems.

Dont cut the eibachs. Not a good idea. You buy those for their handling and stiffness not for the ride height to begin with. If you cut then them the spring compression ratio will be all messed up and then you might as well have bought a different brand that arent as stiff, dont handle as well, and are lower.

I swapped the springs, and they were the same thing. They arent upside down, they both sit the same side up. What do you mean by crooked on the spring seat? The spring sits higher on the same side.. Did the place that put the springs in put it in wrong on that side?
