Strut Mounts...

I am looking to get new strut mounts for when I install my Tokico Struts. I've found KYB struts on taylorautomotive.com for $36.81ea and 9.31 for shiping a pair. My question is, is there a big difference between the KYB ones and the ones I would get from Autozone? The local autozone has them for $42ea and I could just pick them up. Any recommendations?

Well my friend bought the monroe strut mate strut mounts and he's happy. That's probably what Autozone sells. I like KYB if I were you I just wait and get the KYB's.

I need to fix this before the meet this saturday, i was going to buy a strut/spring/mount assy from a junkyard today for $50 so that I could have the blown strut/mount replaced for me to drive to the meet. I dont have springs yet for my Tokico's so I dont want to have to take the whole thing apart. is it worth buying the junkyard one for just a temporary fix?

I don't know....if they look good then i'm sure they're better than having blown strut mounts. Is it that bad to drive? Hope you make it to the meet and have your dilemma fixed.
