On what basis are you saying the EVO sucks as a daily driver. We would ALL like to be enlightened.

I think it was in one of last months issues of in the NY Times sunday car section, that posted a road test as well as a comparison between the two cars. They stated that the cars were evenly matched in terms of handling especially at high throtle. In the final nots they said that the STI was a better daily driver for a person that would not push the car daily. The EVO had a rougher ride during 'normal' driving conditions.(aka speed limit)

I am also speaking from personal driving between the two cars.

Apparantly the EVO is a complete dawg below 3000rpms. It's been compared to base model Civc in terms of power below 3000rpms. The ride is also be critized for being very rough, harsh, and bouncy.

...........I'd still drive it.

I will be getting an STI after the Max is paid off in a couple years. It did run a 13.8 stock per this months Sport Compact Car. I like the WRX more than the EVO because their is power over the entire power band. I wouldn't like reving the engine to get power.

You do know that 2 liters have alot more power capacity right? Nothing like generic statements to start the day. You want to know how much power 2 liter Ford Cosworth engines are making? How about the evo VIII? Ah, this car doesn't handle similar to a fwd.

or . . . A 3+ litre v6 near luxury sporty sedan that looks great and can be capable of both being a highly convienient daily driver and a faster car overall.
