in the rear on a 4th gen? To try to fill out the wheel well more. Would like to get a wider rim in the back with wider tire or wider tire and differant "off set". Anyone ever do this on front wheel drive either?

Sup? Yup I'm just trying to get my front rims now. I got the rear 18 x 10!! And they're flush w/ the fender.
The front is gonna be 18 x 8.5. I'll post the pics on my site when I throw them on.

Woah, woah, woah.. You're putting 18x10 inch wheels on your Max? How in the world is that gonna fit? I'm guessing you cut some of the inner fender lining off? Thats nuts..

Nope no cutting no nothing. I took a chance and bought one first in case it didn't fit. Cuz they told me I couldn't return them if they didn't fit because it wasn't for my application. So in the spirit of I gotta have that lip I tried. On a lift the rim is really close to the spring, but doesn't touch. On the groung do the compressed spring the gap got bigger, which made me feel alot better. I got two two rears and drove to see if it rubbed and everything was good. now all i gotta get is the front, but something or other keeps from buying them. This October I should have them, even if I have to sell my TV. I post pics as soon as I put them on. Now I dont know if its the rim or if they all fit. So if you try it your on your own. =)
