fuel filter

im having a problem changin my fuel filter, i was able to get a screw drvie down there to loosen up the clamps, and slide them out but the hose was on the filter so tight i couldnt pull it off, even after i depressurized the fuel pressure, i was able to change my fuel filter which is the same principle, but there was more room, in which i was able to twist the hose off, but i can't do it on this, im pretty sure the filter was never changed and i onyl got 70k doing my 60k service, so wat do you guys recommned i do to take the hose off, i wanted to sue a plier but dotn want to rip it off, if anyhitng ill cut the hose and just go buy another one at the dealer

Remove your intake from the throttle body to the air box. That will give you more room to work. Use a pair of pliers, grab the hose and twist that sucker off.

what i did to make it a little easier for me was take a flat head screw driver and wedge it in between the hose and filter and twist it so it slowly goes up, hope that helps

Yeah that's what I do. I also remove the intake and than it's easy to get at.

Use a hair dryer to warm up the hoses and you'll be able to pull it off.
