VHT "track bite" is the same stuff they put on tracks. I bought a gallon of it and I'm gonna give it a shot. You can spray it on, roll it on, or do a burnout throught it. BryanH (used to own the 13 second 92 Max) said that it makes quite a difference on street tires at the track. I figured I'd give it a shot and spray some on at the track because I need all the traction I can get with my crap stock RSAs. I'm still stuck in 2.4 60' range. I'm also gonna get a set of spring blockers.

I'm doing all these little traction mods so I can represent us Maxima owners at the yearly Grand Prix Meet in Kansas City. All these 13 and 14 second GTPs are gonna be at KCIR and lots of them want a piece of me. I've got the trap speed to beat a lot of the modded guys, but I can't get off the line like they can.

Good luck Dave

Good luck going up against those boys. They're going to give you a run for your money but i think you'll be able to handle some of them.

Hey dave.. that stuff

Really does work from what I hear.. you really do hook up better.. especially with street tires.. I have heard of guys who just fill up a little spray bottle (like an empyt windex bottle) and carry with em to the track.. mist a little on and watch out!.. hehe Hey when/where is that GP meet??... I'd like to maybe shoot some of that.. write an article. Is it a track only meet?? or are their more activities?... Let me know dude.. you can email me at home at maxtoy@usa.net or I'll dig out your cell and give you a ring...
Oh and I stopped by Dark Sol the other day at lunch.. but they were closed.. no hours on the door.. when are they open?...

Ahhhhh Justin's alive!!!!!!!

What's up Justin?

The Grand Prix meet starts on the 29th of September. They are gonna have "track day" at KCIR starting at noon and then they are all gonna stick around to race when the gates open at 6 pm. I think they are also going to the GM plant on saturday and then they are having a "show and shine" at the Double Tree hotel off of 69 Alt and 435.

Lots of the GTP guys want a piece of me, but it's all in good fun....for the most part. Hardly anyone of them believe my Max could come close to beating a stock GTP. So I guess I have little to loose because I beat stock GTPs rather easily.

I called Jegs today about my order of VHT and they said it is on back order. Hopefully I'll get it by the 29th!!!! I'm also getting some spring blockers for the rears to improve my launch.

As for Dark Sol, I don't know what their hours are. Everytime I've swung by they are open. Maybe they were out to lunch?
