***PICS***My custom DIY intake

well after all the discussion about CAI and pop chargers and which is better, i decided to take the best of both worlds. regular intake with a pipe and a dryer hose...
outside of the car

hose going up to the engine bay

hose coming out next to cone intake

now I can have great high end power without lagging when its hot. sort of. kind of a ghetto install, but you need to get down on your knees to actually see it from the outside

Must be great to live where there's not too much snow
I have problems in the winter with just leaving the stock "ram-air" scoop in - salt crusts @ the walls surrounding the intake

I dunno, man. Fast moving air at high rpm isn't going to like all that bumpiness in the dryer hose. Your girl looks good, though.
