Rattles in the doors
Anybody else experiencing bad rattles in your doors? I have 6.5" MB Quart components loaded in the stock Bose locations. They are tightly secured, with good gasketing. My system is high passed at 90 Hz with 24 db/octave slopes, so they are pretty steep. I'm getting very bad vibrations and rattles in the doors still (I guess having 150 watts per front channel is alot) around the 200 Hz midbass region. This is very irritating and detracts from the music especially on music where there is no other information present to mask the rattles (specifically drums and solos). I tried tightening down the screws that secure the plastic trim pieces to the doors but that only seemed to cure the problem a little bit.
Funny part is, I turned my mom's stereo in her 98 Camry (it only has a kenwood headunit with stock speakers) and I blasted it and it did not rattle one bit! Is it just me or does Toyota have much better quality parts then our nissans do? Hmm.. that solara SE v6 5 speed was tempting.....
But anyway, anybody here have the same problem? And what did you do about it?

check your door panel
especially for thr grill if it's hitting or rubbing against your MB quarts when playing it. Most of the time it clears but when you start playing the speaker extends out and hits thr grill and make a rattling noise.
Are you sure it's not the plastic(bag) lining or -->>
something you may have stored in the slot on the side of the door, like a pen or a penny?

Well, that's not very technical.

Try removing the door panels and playing the speakers then. See if the metal parts in the door are buzzing or if it's the inner panel.
