i have to run my 1/0 wire for my system somehow inside or outside of my max...

how on earth can i pull this off without drilling 892743 holes.

I do not suggest running 1/0 outside the car...there is always the chance that you can graze the wire and cause a short. In my 4th gen I drilled a hole in the firewall, and ran the rest by pulling out the sills, and running the wire right underneath the carpet by the edge near the door all the way to the backseat. At that point I pulled the side of the rear seat back foward a bit and stuffed it through into the trunk. I am sure the 5th gen cannot be that much harder if even that.

i have a fat black wire that is next to the lil plastic piece in the car...which wont allow me to really put it under teh carpet without having a huge bulge ...i dunno im beginning to hate my life.

 

I'm running 0 gauge in mine. You shouldn't need to drill more than 1 hole for it. Once you're through the firewall run it down the side and there's enough holes in behind the rear seats to get it into the trunk. Mine's a 97 but I doubt there's enough interior changes to make it much different.

 

same here, 1 hole thru the firewall and the rest was easy. i had to run 0g for my 2nd battery.
