a couple weeks ago I found one of mine had a hole punched in it.. looked like a rock had gotten stuck between the "folds" and tore a hole.. dunno.

well anyway, it blew grease all over the inside of my fender well and I had to replace the boot while I was 200 miles from home.

just get out the tools and yank that puppy.. $12 and one greasy set of clothes later, I have a perfect condition axle.

BTW, when I tore the entire axle apart, there was almost ZERO wear on the bearing surfaces. the car has 112k miles on it.. explain that one!
good engineering, I'd say.

Ok...heheheh....

Matt, next time my boots are torn I am gonna ask for directions on how to put new ones on.
The nissan people told me that the CVD are rugged.....
but then again they said many other things I consider 'priceless'
ahahahahahaha
but I guess I will give them credit for the cvd
oh yeah...I got greasy palm trying to figure out where the hole is
heheheheheh
I will never drive on dusty roads again
I will never drive on dusty roads again
I will never drive on dusty roads again
I will never drive on dusty roads again
I will never......
I think I got the same woe you got on the CVD...a bad case of chunky rock
