Denso recommends replacing Iridium plugs every 30k. Center electrode on Iridium plug is 25% of size of Platinum and copper plugs so electrode erosion is a problem with iridium plugs. With this guy on ebay selling 6 NGK Laser Platinums for $37 shipped I'd go with the Platinum Plugs with its longer life. I use BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner once a year to clean things up. Car runs great!

Yeah for the money vs. performance from the Iridiums I think you would be better with platinums or copper. I have Iridiums and I can't tell a difference from my stock plugs.

Iradiums are good for the first few K miles.. AFter that they work just as well as stock plugs.

From what I've read about the Iridiums is that they work better with turbo/intercooled systems because they are a hot plug, therefore we (NA vehicles) don't really need hot plugs due to our high compression.

Supposedly a cold plug (or platinums as our car comes stock with) is better for our high compression engines.
