O2 Simulators ?
#2
You cant use these on the two front O2s. Those are true O2 sensors. There is one in each manifold to measure rich/lean of each bank. Then on the Fed spec cars they got one O2 behind the Catalytic Convertor to see if the Cat is working/there. On the Cali Spec cars, there are two of those, Both of them looking at the precat's.
Only put the O2 simulator on the cat-sensing O2 sensor(s). Are they worth it? Well only way I see it being worth it is if you got a boosted application and want to get rid of all the catalytic convertors to gain the much needed 10whp from them. Then it is worth it. Im doing this on mine to remove the two rear cat-sensing O2s in mine. The simulator will keep the SES or Check Engine light from coming on cause it fools the ECU in thinking the Cat is still there.
