Who you calling a rich kid!? I work and pay for........wait, nevermind, you're right all three maximas were giving to me.
Just part of the LSC (lucky sperm club). Sad thing is that my parents are considering getting me a subaru wrx sti.
My first choice was a 97 Acura Gsr. I loved the thing, test drove and everything and was set on getting it. After i came back from teh test ride my parents wanted to know what i thought of getting a bigger family sized sedan. My dad suggested a Camry *with a v6 of course, but I insisted that if i was to get a sedan it MUST be a Maxima. (the maxima was the first car i ever drove, 3rd gen, fully loaded it was great then especially not being allowed to drive legally)
A few days later I had my own 98 Maxima SE and I am so thankful i didnt get anything else.

I've always wanted a Maxima ever since the '87s came out. Test drove several '87-'88s during college but my dad wanted me to keep the hand-me-down '87 Ford Taurus. Shortley before graduation, my folks '96 Sentra was at the dealer for repair (some obscure electrical problem the dealer never isolated) and the Nissan dealer gave them a '92 GXE loaner car that I drove for a week--decided that I had to have a 3rd gen. Two came up for sale at the dealer in the coming months...I passed on the first one but the second one turned out to be my old Bluey--'91 GXE, loaded but without the electronics package and barely 68K on the clock. Had her for three years drove her 100K miles. LOVED that car. There wasn't any question about her replacement either. I knew it was going to be another Maxima but the only question was 4th gen or 5th gen. I still drive a lot for work and didn't see much reason to ante up for a 5th gen when it would just have a ton of miles racked up on it anyway.

I always was interested in Maximas...the shape of its body caught always caught my eye... ..My maxima was my first choice (obviously in my price range)...i just wish i wasn't so hastey in buying my maxima;i could have found a much better deal..
The Maxima has been my first choice since I was in my senior year in H.S. I couldn't afford. It was the 3rd Gen at the time. When it was time to trade up my old car for a brand new car, the 4th Gen came out, it was my first choice but Salesperson was giving me hard time trying to sell me a GXE instead of the SE I wanted. So I ended up getting a 97 Legacy GT. Got totalled unfortunately by my sister, I got a 99 Honda Prelude. I wasn't happy with it after two years with it dealing with alignement problem. I traded it up for a new 01' Maxima SE that I wanted it and afford it.
max =D
my mom was lik "only sedans!" (insurance is a b*tch), reliable, wont break down, gas efficient........pretty much she was gonna get me an Accord......but in the lot.....i spotted my 00 Max and fell inlove.....MAXIMAS OWN!! so glad i didnt get an accord.......Nissan 4 Life!
my 1st choice was a 2003 acura tl type s. Didn't buy it because the sales person was a ***** and very annoying. I had a 01 maxima and decided to test the new one with 3.5. Sales person was very cool so I decided on that and he also let me test drove the car for 50 miles.
