I sell the Stillen Maxima intake for $145; $110 for the JWT intake. Go with the JWT...

In Stillen's defense, their intake is CARB approved. As far as I know the other intakes aren't. Seeing that you're in California, that's an advantage. Plus they've gotta pay for research etc...

As a side note, I was shopping for replacement windows for my house. I went to the manufacturing plant to get quotes. You'd think that you could get them cheaper straight from the plant (no middleman markup). What they told me was that there cost is higher then the middlemans price. Why? Because if they sold them cheaper then no one would sell their product. "Why would I buy from you, you mark up their product to much." Somthing I respect from them was that they told me up front. I'm sure Stillens in the same boat.

Got rice's price seem more fair then Straight from Stillen. So $35 diffence between jwt and Stillen. What's swapping out your intake for smog inspection worth to you?

Anyhow I like how Stillen supports Nissan, however I'm a price targeted shopper and have only bought springs and struts from them.

That's my take on it. What's yours?

Stilen HFI unit went into the dumpster......

I had the Stillen HiFlow intake...lost power due to sucking in hot underhood air...installed CAI from Max-Rev...have pictures & will email to those that want them.

You want cheap parts, go to Pep-Boys. Show&Go...gotta have both.

It's not difficult to make a heat shield for the intake; a trip to Home Depot and 30 minutes.. you're done.

Honestly, I don't think you even need a heat shield due to the location of the intake. When you're moving @ 30+ mph, the hot air is not being directed towards the intake. All of the hot engine heat is from the manifold back...

Go through an authorized Stillen aftermarket dealer. Stillen will sell to you at a much higher price than a dealer will charge. Go with got rice or you could also call Autogear to comparison price (1-877-AUTOGEAR).

Max-Rev's CAI is $229...The flange that bolts to the mass air flow sensor is machined out of billet aluminum...tubes are powdercoated...I got mine

I think they will be making a CAI kit with chromed tubes soon.
