i got some pics for you

they are not the best pics but they should give a general idea. first off, on mine, i had to cut a hole in the fender so that pipeing could fit. and at the end of the piping is where my intake filter goes. and it wont get dirty or wet because you still have the wheel fender covering over the intake filter but what you will get is alot of cooler air, which means better performance. i will get better pictures soon but if you need anymore help, just e-mail me.

Your stock airbox and stock piping will be completely removed (im assuming you are looking into purchasing the PR CAI)....the pipe that comes out of your MAF goes into your wheelwell from the engine bay. Inside of your wheelwell...the filter goes onto the end of the tubing...it is pretty well protected and won't get wet or dirty unless you drive through deep standing water...i clean my filter with every oil change...

here is a pic...

if you look to the right of the battery you can see the tubing going down into the wheelwell...i don't have pics of the otherside but hopefully you can just imagine...

I've actually got the PR CAi, sitting in my trunk waiting to be installed.
If its not all crappy this week maybe i will...
