I just heard a story on the local news that said side windows on all cars and suv are too weak to protect your head from a side impact crash. Therefore your head can go right through the windows. They said that windows that are covered with a layer of clear plastic (in other words...tint) greatly reduce the likelhood of your head going through. So chalk one up for the benefit of tint. 1)privacy 2)in my case..It doesn't get your black interior hot 3)a safety feature What do you guys think. Can you use that excuse to a cop that pulls you over. Take note, the front and back windshield is design to withstand a certain amount of pressure that a side window can't. What was funny is that the reporter didn't say tint because it is illegal in pennsylania...

I only post what the news reporter said, I don't know if it will. But if you have tint then you are better off then another car without. right??? It makes sense to me. But let hope there isn't a person here who has a experience in this..
