Okay....not a NEW car so to speak...but a new used car. I found a '92 Maxima SE 5-speed for sale loaded with leather, sunroof, and ABS. I made the guy an offer...we'll see.

I want it really bad. I only want it for a couple of reasons...
1) It is an SE
2) It is white...the color I wish mine was now!
3) SUNROOF....I really want a sunroof
4) LEATHER...a big plus!

Make sure you do a CarFax check and take it to a mechanic. A mechanic you TRUST!!!

Good luck Nick!

Like he said... check Carfax. and make sure the VTCs have been replaced or are in perfect condition. Also, the Exhaust Manifold Studs are crap and hopefully have been replaced with upgraded studs.

Why would anyone want a VQ?

ahhhh the good ol' days

190 hp back then was serious power, and the SE had 30 hp more, right? Well I couldn't afford a '92 at the time, '95 came and still couldn't afford it, and finally in '98 I could. Anticipation....

Weren't those 92's over 20 grand way back then?

I'm not sure...

Most Maximas now sticker around or over $25k so I am assuming that they were above $20k...I don't think the price of a Maxima would rise that much over 8 years.

I'm not the original owner of my car so I don't know what the sticker price was...I'd guess mine was $20k...maybe a little less.

Anyway, I need to get rid of this car...this guy is going to sell the '92 SE 5-speed unless I buy it ASAP!! I need cash quick...$4500 to a fellow Maxima.org member! E-mail me if interested!

See the post in the 'MAXIMAS FOR SALE/WANTED' section for more info...or e-mail me!
