rear suspension clunking noise

Hey guys,

I have recently added a full stereo system and custom trunk layout to my car and it weighs a ton. I am experiencing clunking noises going over uneven and bumpy roads (basically city driving) I was wondering if I needed new bumpstops or anything to help eliminate the clunking noise. I have an Eibach/tokico, stock bumpstop setup. Never had this problem before except when I had two passengers in the back seat. please help. This noise is getting annoying. It almost sounds like the back shocks are compressing too much... I don't know but please help.....

Do you have a rear sway bar?

The clamps on the Stillen bar are known to hit the floor boards when the rear is loaded up. That might be your clunk.

I do have Tokico blues, but when the shocks blow, doesn't the rear bounce up and down like a hondah? I am thinking of changing the rear shocks to kyb agx... THe front tokico are great. The rear sucks... I think i might as well change the front too and save me the trouble. What do you guys think?
