Ok this is really really weird.. and its starting to freak me out..

July 1999 a trend started..

since July and Aug 1999 .. every year since then.. maxima's have been tottalled left and right.. and not that everyone's car doesn't get totalled.. but in those months.. more than ever..

and this kinda freaks me out.. i know alot of old schoolders will remember that July/Aug 2000 and July/Aug 2001 had great amounts of maxima's being tottaled.. I lost mine in July 1999 also..

and July is ending.. and August is starting.. and already.. we have 3...

now i am only bringing this up to try to get you guys to be extra extra careful around these times..

you guys think i am joke.. do searches on crashes and those months in the past years and you will see that this is no bullsh!t

good point, people drive like idiots when the weather is nice. I am not implying that it is just maxima drivers but it applies to just about everyone. I see accidents all the time during the summer around where i live and work.

I wonder what the "hit someone" to "got hit" ratio is for all of these totaled Maximas.

yikes. i'm kinda scared. i haven't driven my car in a week and a half and the way things are lookin i might not get it back for another week. I guess it gives me less of a chance of losing my max.

drive safe everyone.

You have to think about it statistically how many MORE people drive in the summer, then say in any other time of the year? Summer is THE BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR FOR TRAFFIC PERIOD. Hence, more cars on the road the bigger the chance of people getting into accidents. Yeah we just have to be careful, and unfortunately sometimes we are the victims. I'll admit to it I drive like an ******* too sometimes I'll stop though I promise :-D

Actually, it's funny you posted this, because I was just thinking about it yesterday. The amount of Maximas being totalled is scary, and its been making me paranoid when driving anymore, especially since I just paid my car off two weeks ago....

i was just thinking about this too. my car was hit last month by a delivery truck. While at the turbo place. It just sucks especially when the heavily modded ones get totalled, ie: 007, and pcguru

Sprint you crashed the white maxima do you still own the maxima?

I almost got killed on my way back fron North carolina this truck jumped into my lane on a curve lucky I slowed down so he saw me and jumped back on his lane other then that he would have hit me head on. The other time is when I was at a stop sign on a curve no cars, proceed to cross over and out of no where comes a car flying at 70Plus miles per hour and lucky I was driving slow I would have got T boned. That happened one week and half ago.

Yeah, kids aren't in school in the summer. Just think, your folks have to save $1000/mo from the day you were born until the day you turn 18 to send you to college, that is assuming you can nail down 45% financial aid in scholarship, grants, loans, part-time job. They shouldn't have to take care of your transport too. dang the school in my town is 54 grand per year, what a joke. without financial aid parents would have to save probably 2500/mo. from birth to age 18. don't make your rents pay for your ride on top of all else.

I couldnt tell you how many times my 4th gen was smacked up. They should have declaired it wrecked the first time. Though Ive had my 3rd gen since 92 (till this present time), that has yet to even see an accident.
