Fuel Pressure help

I am confused about my fuel pressure. I have the Walbro fuel pump in there and normal fuel pressure rests at about 32 psi. On the freeway it goes up to 40 psi. The new pump has been in there for a few days. Last night and this morning, my fuel pressure rested at 26 psi on the freeway and when I gas it, it goes to 42. Then when I ease off, it goes up to 50 and stays there until I shift, where it goes back down to 28-28 psi? What is going on? Also, when the pressure is at 40, when I go WOT, the pressure immediately drops down to 30 and then immediately goes to 48 psi. There is a lag and then the car takes off when I try to accelerate faster.

Any suggestions to what this can be? Anyone near Chico who can help me?

My mechanic said that my nitrous was not installed correctly. He did it to the way that he thought was right and since then the car runs like this. Does this sound like it could be the problem?

Perhaps a moderator can move this thread into the Nitrus forums. You might get better response there.

My educated guess would say yes, thats sounds like it could very well be the cause.

It could be in the nitrous forum but nobody ever is in there. This problem happens in regular driving and I ahven't even had the chance to use my kit yet, so I consider this a FP question. Any other ideas to what it could be?

Are you using the stock FPR? If so, if you've connected anything to it, disconnect it and run stock to see if your FP goes back to normal.
