I'm hearing this banging of some sort coming from underneath the car when I floor it. It seems to make more noise when I'm turning while flooring it. I took it to Jeff and Maximum Tuning and we couldn't find anything? I'm baffled? I have a Cattman Y-Pipe!

 

Is it a banging noise? It could be your y-pipe hitting your crossmember bar..

It's strange, I drove the car last night and this morning and the banging seems to be a whole lot less and at times I hear nothing.

 

Check the cross-member bar. That is most likely the cause. Just remove it and see if the banging goes away.

 

I had the same thing happen to me. I also had my exh. installed by Jeff,and as soon as I got on the L.I.E to come home it started. Its most likely the cross-member underneath the car.Just take off the cross member,and add a few washers to it,like 2 or 3. That should fix the sound.

Mine likes to make a raspy noise when the car has only been drivin for like 5min or sometimes during downshifts...is this normal? Could it be a bad flex section?
