Wheel stud install Help!!!!

Yes, it is easy. You will need a FAIRLY large hammer to do it. I used a 5-pound sludge hammer. All I did was knocked it out from the front of the hub back and the bad stud fell right out. When you are placing the new one in, put it though the hole and use an open ended lug-nut and tighten it down. As you are tightening it, the lug-nut will pull the stud into the hub. Hope this helps.
I just replaced mine. Dealer crossthreaded it, grrr. There is a cut on the brake shield that you can use to insert the new stud in. You need to rotate the hub to line up with the cut out. I also used a hammer to knock the old lug stud out. However, next time I plan to use a presser (sold at Pepboys) to push the stud out. Hammering it out may not be good for the bearing or CV joint. To pull the new stud in, you can use a few large washers and the existing lug nut.

It will only cost you $2 and some change for the stud and the half-hour or hour that it takes.

Anyone know how long the stock studs are?

Careful using the wrench method to pull the stud through. I ruined 2 studs doing that. I've had more luck just taking the extra time to hammer it 95% of the way in than trying to quickly do it with a wrench. Now if you have access to air tools then the method of just turning a lug on it to get it on is cake. I replaced all 10 in the front in about 20 minutes doing that.

I just got your message. I didn't have my cell phone with me this weekend. Give me a call. If you haven't fixed it already, swing by tonight.
